The commercial activities that the Turkey Diyanet Foundation started in the construction sector with a single company have expanded over time since 1983 in line with emerging needs. This expansion continued with the establishment of companies such as GİNTAŞ Inc., KOMAŞ Inc., VETAŞ Inc., DİVANTAŞ Inc., and 29 MAYIS Inc., which provide services in various sectors under different names.

In 2001, these companies merged under the name "KOMAŞ Kocatepe Modern Retail Enterprises Industry and Trade Inc." After 2020, KOMAŞ Construction continued its construction activities under the TEYAŞ umbrella, maintaining its operations without slowing down, and has gained increasing momentum.

In the new era, KOMAŞ is also signing many new projects by winning public tenders from institutions like TOKİ and Aselsan. In 2022, KOMAŞ Inc. merged with TEYAŞ TDV Educational Investment Inc. to continue its services.
